CBDT HAS ISSUED A UNIFORM AND UNAMBIGUOUS INSTRUCTIONS TO ALL CCA THROUGH ITS LETTER DATED 6TH JUNE 2014. THE CBDT IN THE LETTER, CLARIFIED THAT THE ISSUE OF INTER-SE SERNIORITY IN THE INCOMETAX DEPARTMENT IS UNSETTLED. SO THE ENTIRE SENIORITY OF THE OF THE OFFICERS OF THE INCOMETAX DEPARTMENT IS TO BE REFIXED.
LET US HOPE ALL THE AGONIES AMONG THE OFFICERS/STAFF OF THE DEPARTMENT WILL GO AWAY. BEST OF LUCK.

In general it must be implemented in all cadre of income tax departments. congratulations to all DR ITIs and TAs.
In bihar & Jharkand direct TAs joined in the R.Y. 2007-08, but the actual vacancies for which they have recruited is of 2006-07. It is therefore required to refix their seniority accordingly in senior tax assistant as of now. Thanks for the CBDT for giving uniform direction to revise the seniority of income tax department.
Not only in Bihar & Jarkhand, but also in other charges DR TAs joined in 2007-08 belongs to 2006-07 RY because of vacancies created in Dec, 2007 and intimated to SSC in Feb 2007. But refixing of TA seniority will be of no much use since the most seniors above them belong to DR LDCs upgraded to TA before 2003 and 2006-07 PR TAs just above DR TAs came from old Gr.D staff most of these PR TAs yet to pass ministerial exam. So overtaking them by recasting is not going to yield any advantage to DR TAs of SSC 2006 TAs.
So jackpot in all practical purposes applicable only to DR ITIs.

InBihar and Jharkhand Charge the inter-se seniority of Dr.UDC and Pr.UDC should be re-fixed in the light of this clarification of CBDT .There is also dispute in the fixation of seniority of ministerial staff and stenos while promoting to the post of Inspectors,this should also be looked into.
Erstwhile DEOs presently working as ITI / OS are likely to be superceded by DR SSC entrants atleast for 2 years if seniority based on date of notification is made mandatory as those DEOs were recruited localy through employment exchange.

DEO ka malbat daily wage ka.
Daily wages employee presently working as ITI will lose seniority up to Two years. And those Daily wages working as ITOs will be reverted very soon. good luck.
But wht abt dpc for r.y. 14-15?
For ur kind information all the TA recuited since long are required to clear data entry test. It is mandatory. It means all TA are DEO. Hence daily wager as per ur comments. So pls think before commenting on other cadres. Do not spits poinson. It will also affect u bcoz it is in ur mind n body.
All the DEOs were lost there seniority at the time of restructuring in 2001. They were placed below UDCs of 93 n 94. So at this time there will be no loss of seniority.
U peoples r not faithfull to ur own cadres n have no respect for them. How could anybody get respect from ur side.

DoPT has taken 16 months to understand that Apex Court had quashed OM dt 3.3.08.
CBDT has taken another 3 months to digest.
When will CCAs understand the same.
What will CCA Bangalore do now.
Disciplinary action needs to be taken against official of CCA, Bangalore who openly defies Apex Court\DoPT\CBDT through a ten page note
penultimate para of Bangalore office memorandum says that in the absence of any litigation they would not reopen the cases. This means that they would continue with wrong doings till forced by courts to correct.
Criminal mindset.
This 6.6.2014 clarification from Board is bound to struck down by courts because it is violative of 4.3.2014 OM issued by DoPT. RIP.
Please know the fate of department where people work who make such silly comments...They do not know that 06-06-2014 clarification is nothing but DOPT advice reproduced. .. some great souls comment this will be struck down.. hahhhaaa
ALL Mumbai DEO's are lost their Seniority becoz they are appointed through Employemnt Exchange and not from SSC.

In the charge of Pr.CCIT, Kolkata many SC/ST candidates who were passed dept.exam in relaxed standard were promoted against UR vacancies, will also reverted very soon. Ek saath sare paap dhul jayenge, ITEF, Kolkata ke. Because it all happen due to ITEF Kolkata. The maximum posts in ITEF Kolkata are captured by SC/ST categories candidates. A court case going to file in this issue in CAT, Kolkata very soon.
Has anybody got any info on the seniority list for promo from Sr.TA to Inspector for Mumbai range?
Is it being redrawn in line with CBDT's latest guideline dt 06.06.14 or the Bangalore way?
It seems that after all the hard relating drawing up seniority list of Inspectors and consequent promo to ITI, Mumbai range is tired and wants to take rest till June end. ITEF is also unhappy with this NRP implementation and therefore the staff members involved are virtually not available in the office.
Almost a case of non-cooperation from Staff side.

Till ITEF is banned and disbanded, the fight between DR and Pr would remain.
